Google mocks iPhone 13 using their dead Nexus account

By Aswin Kumar

Memes and reactions over every Apple launch event are no different every year and like every other year, Google took a jab at Apple but secretly!

As the Cupertino giant unveiled their latest series of iPhones on September 14, tech giant, Google, preferred to chaff their premium phone rival

A tweet from Google’s nexus account saying “I’d wait for #Pixel6” soon after the launch of iPhone 13 which netizens find to be taunting in nature.

The last tweet from the Nexus account was on October 16, 2017, before google shifted to a new account @madebygoogle which tweets the latest news on Google products and services. However, the old Nexus account was active till July 14, 2019, while replying to customer support @mentions, as per a report by 9to5Google.

The tweet also mentions Google’s answer for iPhone 13 and is all set to be launched later this year, which will compete with Apple in the flagship market. But let’s not forgot Samsung’s S series, the third wheel.

Google recently released the first Pixel 6 teaser with ‘For All You Are’ tagline, showing the first real, non-rendered glimpse of the hardware.

The video teases the design of the Pixel 6, Android 12 elements, and most awaited tensor chip which is new and it looks like Google is also ready to make their own SoCs for their flagship phones like its rivals Apple and Samsung.

Meanwhile, Google hasn’t made any official announcement regarding the launch but as per a report by 9to5Google, the launch date is expected to be October 19 and will be available to purchase by October 28 with no reports currently available suggesting its launch in the Indian market.
