Apple is officially rolling out the public version of iOS 14.6 to iPhone users. The update is mainly focused on audio or media improvements with changes to Apple Podcast and Apple Music.
The new update added support for Apple Music subscribers to enable lossless music and the Apple Podcast subscription option which allows users to subscribe to a podcast within the app and pay using Apple’s App Store payment.
One of the biggest changes of the update is the support for Apple Family Card which was first introduced in Apple’s special event last month, allows users to share their Apple card via Family Sharing.
Apple is also improving the Podcasts app with the ability to mark all episodes as played, recover old episodes, and remove downloads.
Meanwhile, the update enables Apple’s Air tag owners to add the email address as a contact method when the tracker is in lost mode.
Also, Apple now allow its voice control users to unlock their iPhone for the first time using their voice after a restarts.
